Banish Technologies, LLC Concludes Antimicrobial Performance Study

Antimicrobial Kitchen Sponge Passes Efficacy Tests

Long Island, NY: Today, Banish Technologies, LLC, a consumer products company specializing in antimicrobial kitchen and home cleaning products, announces the conclusion of an antimicrobial performance study in collaboration with Westbury Diagnostics. Westbury Diagnostics is a full service laboratory analysis company with expertise in due diligence as well as EPA and FDA testing. The study confirmed the antimicrobial properties of Banish Technologies’ proprietary sponge materials from pre-production manufacturing earlier this year.

Following an in-house validation of material properties and performance, Banish Technologies collaborated with Dr. Larry Green of Westbury Diagnostics to independently assess the antimicrobial properties of Banish sponge materials. The study confirmed the targeted antimicrobial performance characteristics of the materials with >99.9% killing of E. coli and Pseudomonas bacteria.
