Banish Technologies, LLC Completes Pre-production Manufacturing Test

Patent-Pending Antimicrobial Sponge Material Production Successfully Scaled

Long Island, NY: Today, Banish Technologies, LLC, a consumer products company specializing in antimicrobial kitchen and home cleaning products completed preliminary manufacturing process development for its patent-pending integrated antimicrobial sponge material. Following laboratory scale production and performance validation of the material, the successful scale up to a 400 kilogram batch is an important milestone to commercial production.

When asked about this material and the manufacturing test, Banish Technologies CEO, Dr. John Wilson commented “It was important for us that we developed a material that was not only effective, but could also be produced with existing manufacturing infrastructure at home and abroad.”

Matthew Stadler, PhD, a green chemist and advisor to the company remarked “The research and development accomplished by Dr. Wilson and Banish beautifully marry advanced material science and biochemical understanding. They have produced a material that, from every indication, is safe to the environment and humans, but efficiently kills bacteria and microbes.”

The company is now focused on validating the antimicrobial performance of the sponges from this manufacturing run in-house and then with an independent, third party testing laboratory.
